Meet the Therapists

Jennifer BradtJennifer Bradt, MS, LPC-S, NCC
Jennifer is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor who offers counseling services based on a growth-oriented model to children ages 4-18, parents, families, couples and individual adults who are looking to experience change in their lives. She has worked in a variety of settings including elementary, middle and high schools as well as two universities. In addition, she has worked with women and children whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence. A graduate of Oklahoma State University, Jennifer has been licensed in Texas since 1999. She believes that our lives are centered around the relationships we create and our perception of how well they are working. We will all experience relational struggles and challenges during our lives, beginning with sibling rivalry, playground/peer difficulties and strained familial relationships. Through her faith, education, professional training and experience as a mom, Jennifer is able to connect with her clients and offer effective, individualized solutions which instill hope and encourage positive change. Jennifer resides in Frisco, TX with her husband and children.

Chris M. JohnsonChristopher M. Johnson, MA, LPC - Intern
Chris is a state-licensed intern who received his degree in Professional Counseling from Amberton University. He also holds a BS in Health and Human Performance from Texas A&M at Commerce. For over twelve years, Chris has been highly active in community outreach services such as Habitat for Humanity, meals on Wheels and Big Heart Ministries as a representative of his church. He previously served as the Youth Director for several years allowing him to gain valuable insight and experience working with children and adolescents. Chris is under the direct supervision of Jennifer Bradt for his post-licensure internship.

He has been married to his wife since 1996 and is the proud father of two amazing girls. He feels that each piece of his life has served as a stepping stone preparing him for a career in counseling. Chris believes that every person has the ability and the right to live a content and purposeful life. It is his goal to help others achieve this in their lives.

Jennifer StriplingJennifer Stripling, MS, MEd, LPC - Intern
Jennifer is licensed as an LPC-Intern however she began her professional journey 15 years ago as a Child Life Specialist after receiving her BA in Psychology from Texas A&M and MS in Early Childhood Disorders from UT Dallas. She then received her MEd degree in counseling and play therapy from the University of North Texas has enjoyed making the transition to serving children and families in a counseling role.

Jennifer has been happily married for the past 15 years to her best friend and has one wonderful daughter. She believes that our families and past experiences shape us into who we become as adults and, through the application of her experience, education and faith looks forward to assisting North Texas families in learning to create healthy experiences in their lives. Jennifer is currently under the direct supervision of Jennifer Bradt and is a member in good standing with the American Counseling Association and the Texas Counseling Assocation.
